Welcome to Great Cove Golf Club!!

Nestled in the Hills of the Northern Appalachian Mountains, Great Cove Golf Club offers 18 Championship Holes for golfers of virtually every skill level. Our Semi-Private golf facility has golf, dining, and a swimming pool open year round to everyone, weather permitting.

The Design:

The original nine holes at Great Cove that make up the front side opened in 1965, and the back nine holes were built in the early 90's - together both 9's make up the course today. The front nine plays long and makes for an enjoyable opening, while the back nine is tighter and more demanding on shot-making.

An Enjoyable Experience:

From the time you step out of your vehicle, you are on a roller coaster ride you won't soon forget. The opening hole at Great Cove, which is a Par 4 measuring 465 yards from the professional tees, sweeps from 4 sets of tees down to the fairway 70 feet below, and then rises 60 feet to a large undulating elevated green. Hang on for the next 2 hours!! Finally, two short par 4's that make up holes 14 & 15 are a great chance to work on your score by getting a birdie or two. For you "long-ballers", how about an eagle? The 17th hole is rated the most difficult - it requires both length and strategic placing of your drive. A par 5 of over 550 yards, the 17th will allow you to get ahead in your game, even with a par - and a birdie here will possibly set you up for a win. The final hole, #18, follows up the 17th as a 460 yard Par 4. One last chance to bomb your drive and get within reach of a mid iron shot to the large finishing green that is relatively flat, so you can have 1 last chance at a birdie to this memorable round.

The Staff:

Our professional staff is always available to help with your needs. Great Cove's pledge is to treat every customer just like a member, so you feel right at home and have the most enjoyable experience we can provide. From the golf shop to the food & beverage to the maintenance - we will make your round one to remember!
